Winter begins and a Summer update

As the snow really begins to settle and the lifts have started spinning, a winter like no other has begun. While we will miss our annual influx of international guests, opportunities and excitement continue to abound in the real estate world. More about that below…

Personally, this has been an exciting year for me and my family. My son Hemi was crowned New Zealand U16 ski champion this summer and my daughter Shelby is fast following in his tracks with some podiums herself in the southern hemisphere season. Although I had to follow from afar here in Japan it was amazing to see their progress, but equally fantastic to have them and my wife Ruri back in Niseko now.

Shelby also had a great southern hemisphere season!

While the family was away I was able to spend plenty of time with friends new and old on the golf course and out at Lake Toya. My summer wasn’t all about birdies and wakeboarding though with Niseko Realty recording a steady amount of transactions focused on land with two notable large development sites reaching contracting. I am also delighted to be launching a new, easy-to-use website which is now online – please take a look around and let us know what you think!

At Niseko Realty we have several new projects in the pipeline and plenty of options for investment in Asia’s premier ski resort.
